All of us have experienced the tables turning, and not in our favor! That’s what many followers of Jesus felt when God stopped talking about “them” at the end of Romans 1, and started talking to “you” at the beginning of Romans 2. To further add to the uneasiness, Paul used words like “judge” and “judgment” a ton over the first few verses of the chapter, and yet it all took an unexpected twist when the kindness of God got highlighted.
