LET THE FUN BEGIN…

Family Life at The Gathering is a fun, age-appropriate environment that we’ve designed specifically to help your child develop an active relationship with Jesus. We have no doubt that the teaching, music, and friendships they experience will help them understand what it means to become disciplers. We also know that they’ll get in the car each week smiling and begging you to bring them back!

We’ve put together some basic information to help you get ready for your first visit:

What is Family Life?

Family Life is the worship environment for children and students at The Gathering and is designed to help them learn about following Jesus through lessons designed just for them. Nursery, toddler rooms, and Kid City are all located in our Family Life area.

Where does Family Life happen?

Our Family Life area is behind the Worship Center and can be easily accessed by walking down the hall located to your left when you enter the front lobby of the building.

What ages can attend Family Life?

We have Family Life ministry from ages up to 12th grade. Birth through 5th-grade ministry happens on Sunday mornings in various Family Life rooms. Our Youth Group meets on Sunday nights from 6p – 8p in the main Worship Center. You can learn more about what’s happening with our youth on their Facebook page.

Is Family Life secure?

All of our Family Life servant leaders have had background checks and one of our Campus Safety servant leaders stays in the Family Life lobby entrance throughout the morning. You can rest easy knowing that your child is not only safe, but surrounded by volunteers who absolutely love kids!

How do I check-in my child to the Family Life area?

When you come to The Gathering, our servant leaders will direct you and your child to the Family Life Check-In desk. Younger children (up to age 4) will go to their rooms while children ages 5 and up to 5th grade will go with their parents into the Worship Center for worship. After the last song, your child(ren) will go with our Family Life servant leaders while you remain in the Worship Center for the morning message. At the end of the service, you’ll go to the Family Life lobby for Check Out. You must present your tag when you get your child.
