  • January 22 - SKATE PARTY for all of our Servant Leaders!

"(I) did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give (my) life as a ransom." Jesus

"You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you." John Bunyan

Jesus said that if we did everything possible to hold onto our lives, we'd lose them. But the surest way to find life - to find the kind of life that completes us - is by giving our lives away for the glory of Jesus, and that will always look like serving the people He loves. After all, Jesus came to serve, and we can't improve on the example that He gave us. At The Gathering, we're creating a serving culture that will be the driving force behind all that we do. That's why we call our volunteers "Servant Leaders" and why we call our volunteer teams "iOS Teams."

What is an iOS Team?

iOS is synonymous with excellence, mobility, and touch, and that's what our volunteer base is all about at The Gathering. We know that without excited, servant-oriented volunteers, the ministry of our church won't operate smoothly, and so our iOS Teams are, in short, the operating system of all we do here at The Gathering, and everyone on the iOS Team has the same passion: "i Offer Service to the church body and others in the community so that the Kingdom of Jesus might experience continued, uncontainable growth."

Serving in the body is a huge part of how the forgiven express their thanks to Jesus. (Colossians 3:17)

What iOS Teams are available?

The Gathering has many areas of ministry that make up our iOS Teams and you'll serve beside multiple volunteer teams who serve on Sundays and during the week. Most of our iOS Teams run on a bi-weekly basis, so you won't be serving every week. You can read about each team and sign up to become a servant leader below.

First Impressions

Our First Impressions teams believe that you never get a second chance to... well, you know. From our Greeters at the door to servant leaders placing worship packets in every chair, these teams love being the message before the message! Use your outgoing personality and people-skills to make first time guests (our VIGs) and planted members feel right at home.

Do you have production skills and thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment that takes worship to a whole new level?  Be a part of the team of servant leaders who bring it all to together through the use of lighting, audio, video, stage props, camera operation, and stage management.

Worship Team

Worship opens our hearts to see God all around us. When we worship, we get to celebrate all that God has done for us and how He is working in our lives. At The Gathering, we value the transforming power of being in God’s presence, and the worship team is a huge part of helping our church live that out each week. There are different ways to serve on the Worship Team: musically, vocally, and administratively.

Children's Ministry

These servant leaders support the growing children’s ministry at The Gathering in a variety of ways, from greeting, check-in, teacher support, decorating and much, much more.

Weekend Operations

As a mobile church, our weekend operations team is vital to creating an opportunity for people to experience life-change through Christ. From set up & tear down, to security and more, this team works to turn a bar into a church each and every week.

This iOS Team helps staff with administrative tasks and projects as they arise.
